CM Education Endowment Fund KP CMEEF Scholarship

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced the scholarship programme for the Chief Minister’s Education Endowment Fund for 2022. For undergraduate and graduate students, the CMEEF scholarship offers a fully funded award that pays all tuition costs as well as a monthly stipend of PKR 5000. The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Higher Education, Archives, and Libraries department administers the CMEEF Scholarship, a merit-and-need-based scholarship programme. Candidates for the BS, BE, MS, MPhil, and Ph.D. programmes in the chosen fields and institutions will receive the scholarships.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa residents who are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programmes at the chosen institutions are eligible to apply for the scholarship. For both programmes, candidates must submit their applications directly to the chosen institution. If the wrong information is provided, the scholarship will be cancelled. Applications sent directly to the management unit office won’t be taken into consideration.

Eligibility requirements for undergraduate programmes for the CMEEF KP scholarship

  • Holders of domiciles in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa only
  • Suitable for enrollment in “Approved Institutions”
  • Not receiving any other financial aid
  • Fathers and guardians must earn no more than PKR 100,000 per month from all sources.
  • Provision of a bond or commitment

Eligibility requirements for the CMEEF KP scholarship for graduate studies

Only residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

  • Having a valid offer of admission in a discipline or institution that has been approved for MS/MPhil/Ph.D. programmes, or having met the admission requirements (merit).
  • For MS/MPhil, a minimum GRE/GAT (General or Subject) score of 50% is required; for a PhD, a minimum GRE/GAT (General or Subject) score of 60% is required.
  • Age must be under 50 years old as of the institution’s advertised last date for application receipt.
  • Must have a first-class academic record (at least a first division, a CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0, or 3.75 out of 5).
  • Not currently receiving any other scholarships
  • The father’s or guardian’s combined monthly income cannot be more than PKR: 100,000.
