Due to internet issues in the country, PMC has postponed the registration of MDCAT 2022. The registration process will be restarted soon, and students will be notified. The schedule for the National Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2022 was previously announced by the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC). For admission to any government or private medical or dental college in the country. The Computerized National MDCAT is conducted by PMC. For Overseas Pakistanis and international students, tests are held in various locations across the country as well as abroad.
The MDCAT registration period was set to begin on May 25, 2022. PMC MDCAT 2022 applications were due on July 5, 2022. The new dates, however, will be announced soon. PMC National MDCAT 2022 will be held in 20 cities across Pakistan.
The Council also approved the policy for adding provincial MDCAT Committees, which will be formed by the relevant federal and provincial governments in each province and territory, with three members nominated by the provincial government, two from public sector medical universities and one from a private medical university.
The MDCAT Committees will examine the curriculum and recommend any revisions to the National Medical and Dental Academic Board, as well as a question bank to be included in the MDCAT exam. The goal is to involve all stakeholders to ensure transparency and ownership. The MDCAT 2022 exam will be administered using a PMC-developed IT system.”
The test will be held in Islamabad, Karachi, Hyderabad, Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Peshawar, and Quetta at the same time. The USA, UK, Europe, Gulf Countries, and Asia will be overseas test centers for the National MDCAT 2022.
Eligibility Criteria for PMC MDCAT 2022:
Any student above the age of 16 (as of July 15, 2022) is able to register for and take the MDCAT examination. A FSc/Aleve result is not required to take the MDCAT. Following the MDCAT, students can sit for intermediate exams.

Students can register for classes online through the PMC website. As with last year, students will be able to choose a convenient time window and testing location, which will be confirmed by PMC in due course. Passing the National MDCAT with a score of at least 65 percent is required for admission to any Government or Private Medical College in the country.
