After a decade of selling the same old model, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) is set to introduce the new Swift to Pakistan. According to reliable sources, the vehicle will be unveiled on February 24, 2021, in Lahore.
The new Swift is one of the most eagerly awaited new arrivals in Pakistan, and it is expected to be a smash hit. It’s a subcompact hatchback that’ll go up against the Proton Saga, Honda City, Changan Alsvin, and other models.
A naturally aspirated 1.2-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 90 horsepower (hp) and 120 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque will power the local version, which will be available with a 5-speed manual, CVT automatic, or 5-speed AGS transmission.
By the end of 2021, the Kia Cerato will be available in Pakistan
Two airbags, parking sensors, a smart infotainment unit, cruise control, child-seat anchors, climate control, a TFT screen in the gauge cluster, Anti-Lock Braking System, and other standard features are expected to be included in the new model.
At the time of the launch, the official information on trim levels, specifications, and prices will be released. The Swift, on the other hand, is expected to be launched in Pakistan at a price range of Rs. 2.6 million to Rs. 3 million.
Despite its popularity, the Swift will face stiff competition in Pakistan at the above-mentioned price.
